About this role The Finance Internship Program is a 12-week, early career program designed to expose associates to Carrier’s segments and finance functions at a New York Stock Exchange traded company with market-leading products and services utilized by customers worldwide. Interns build upon formal education while providing an excellent opportunity to develop their network and join a culture that values ethics, the environment, and financial performance. Interns begin to develop analytical and communication skills while acquiring a greater appreciation for teamwork and leadership that can help differentiate candidates when applying to Carrier’s Finance Leadership Program (FLP). Interns will have the opportunity to network across multiple business functions and segments, as well as learning from current FLPs and Alumni. Key Responsibilities Interns may be placed in any of Carrier’s business segments, such as WHQ, HVAC, and Refrigeration. Roles and responsibilities are defined by the Finance team that the Intern will support. Finance teams may include Controllership & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations / Factory Finance, or other Finance areas. The Finance Internship Program is an intense learning opportunity that requires active participation in presentations, trainings, and events. About this role: This position manages a small team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Customer Service in our North American Commercial HVAC business. Will be responsible for establishing objectives and guidelines for efficient and high-quality services. Will liaise with product line management, handle escalated client problems, and will drive changes to Customer Service policies to ensure improvement and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Define, capture and improve key applied equipment order management and customer communications KPI’s in Sales Force (SFDC). Manage a team responsible for keeping customers informed and advised of order status through proactive communication via phone, email and web-based initiatives. Manage processes that enable the team to provide front line order status support to field sales channels, customers and other departments. Act as the voice of the customer to internal factory Operations teams. Coordinate with Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Distribution functions to help ensure on-time delivery. Interact daily with key Carrier customers, distributors and direct sales offices, as well as Carrier factories, logistics and product teams to continually improve upon the customer experience. Ensure the tools required for each person’s success are readily available. Lead the development of the team to provide career growth and skill enhancement. Participate and lead projects to drive customer experience for Commercial business. Drive process improvement culture within the team along with utilization of lean tools. Provide strong leadership to the team to drive performance, engagement and accountability within the team. As a Light Commercial Sales General Manager, you will Lead Carrier’s established distribution customers. Overseeing distribution channel management activities and ensuring short to medium term objectives and goals are met. Develops distribution channel management plans in support of the discipline and influences leadership on critical distribution channel management sales strategies. Seeking experienced Distribution Channel Management professional, overseeing and participating in various sales and customer relationship management processes. Responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance sales performance of Carrier’s light commercial products. This role serves the plains states, Chicagoland, and eastern Pennsylvania region of the US. Job location base is flexible within that area given proximity to a metropolitan airport. Key Responsibilities: Acts as the primary contact with the highly visible / valuable distribution and channel management teams and/or strategic prospects, develops a professional relationship with the purpose of understanding and meeting the customer needs and within the bounds of contracted scope.
