About This Role: As part of Carrier’s broader enterprise transformation, Carrier is seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to serve as Director of Corporate Functions (“Director”) within Carrier Digital. This individual will lead the global Finance / Carrier Business System (“CBS”) Digital team and be accountable for the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of digital solutions that support Enterprise Finance and CBS. The Director will oversee delivery of ERP and finance platform initiatives, leveraging internal Centers of Excellence (CoEs), the Carrier Intelligence team, and external partners to execute programs in a complex, global environment. This includes partnering closely with Finance, CBS, and other business leaders to implement technologies that drive scalable operations and improve user experience. This role will also shape and execute the digital roadmap for Finance and CBS— deploying automation, analytics, and AI tools to streamline G&A processes, improve invoice and transaction accuracy, enhance decision-making, and modernize service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Oversee ERP (SAP, CFIN) and finance platform strategy and delivery, ensuring alignment with business and transformation priorities; Define and deliver a digital roadmap that modernizes Finance and CBS operations, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and user experience; Deploy automation, AI, and analytics tools to eliminate repetitive tasks, improve transaction accuracy (e.g., invoicing), and provide actionable insights that benefit internal teams and customers; Collaborate with Finance Transformation and CBS leaders to prioritize initiatives, leverage Digital CoEs and Carrier Intelligence for execution, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals; Implement tools that improve core Finance and CBS processes, reduce errors, and enable faster, more seamless customer and supplier transactions; Drive adoption and performance of new systems, monitor business impact, and resolve process or system gaps post-implementation; Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Digital, CBS, and Finance teams, including the CFO, bringing executive presence, functional expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and a bias for action; Build strong, influential, and collaborative relationships across business functions and global teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and shared ownership of new systems. Strong execution across Finance, CBS, and other key stakeholder groups through improved clarity, accountability, and delivery; Modernized capabilities by leveraging SAP, ERP, and CFIN expertise alongside emerging automation and AI technologies; Improved customer outcomes by reducing errors, accelerating processing, and improving data visibility for both internal and external stakeholders; Streamlined efficiency through broad adoption of digital tools, driving productivity and performance gains enterprise-wide. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years of experience leading digital transformation efforts in support of Finance within complex, global organizations. 10+ years of experience managing large-scale initiatives such as ERP (e.g., SAP) implementations, intelligent automation, and AI-driven solutions, with strong domain expertise in financial operations and G&A processes. Preferred Qualifications: This individual will be highly effective in matrixed environments, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders, manage cross-functional delivery teams, and provide strategic direction across technology and business functions. A background in both program execution and strategic planning is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making at all levels. The candidate should bring a hands-on leadership style, technical fluency, and the vision to drive enterprise-wide transformation that delivers measurable business value. This position is entitled to both short and long-term incentives, subject to plan requirements. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is $218,000–$305,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
