Your mission is to move fast in production: • Compose pixel-perfect screens and interactive prototypes with the existing library. • Add or refine components/variants when the UX team specs new patterns.Keep the library healthy—naming, documentation, and token integrity—so devs pull designs to code in Key Outcomes (Rolling 2-week cycles) Outcome and KPIs • Screens & flows shipped ≥ 12 net-new responsive pages per sprint, 0 blocker comments from dev QA • Component extensions < 48 h turnaround from UX spec to publish; passes auto-layout & variant audits • Library hygiene 100 % components linked to tokens; Zeroheight section updated within 24 h of change Responsibilities • Rapid Production – Assemble high-fidelity desktop & mobile pages using auto-layout and variant-driven components. • Component Iteration – Create new component states, add props/variants, and update token links while retaining existing naming conventions. • Interactive Prototypes – Build click-through flows for stakeholder reviews and usability tests. • Library Maintenance – Run periodic audits for broken instances, detached components, and WCAG AA contrast regressions; fix on the fly. • Documentation Touch-ups – Add screenshots, usage notes, and “dos/don’ts” in Zeroheight / Figma README as changes ship. • Collaboration – Pair with our UX Designer (strategy & IA) and React engineers (MUI v6 + Storybook) in short, async cycles. Must-Have Expertise • 5+ years visual/UI design with 2+ years maintaining a production Figma design system (not just creating one). • Figma power-user: Auto-layout 4.0, component properties, interactive components, variables/tokens. • Proven record of extending an existing design library—share a before/after or changelog link. • Familiar with Storybook or Zeroheight bi-directional workflows. • Strong grasp of WCAG 2.1 AA and Baymard e-commerce heuristics. • Able to deliver polished, responsive mock-ups fast (think hours, not days). Nice-to-Have • Tokens Studio experience for token upkeep. • Multi-brand or dark-mode theming know-how. • Basic Git workflow familiarity (pull requests for tokens.json or Storybook MDX).
