Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. • 10+ years experience, emphasizing sales or business development and people leadership. 10 + years experience in the building products industry, preference to Adhesives and Flooring • Strong experience in strategic leadership needed. • Strong experience negotiating large/major contracts. • Advanced business and financial acumen needed. • Experience in planning and forecasting, with practical experience in researching new opportunities and implementing successful account penetration. Strong background and experience dealing with Distributor Channels in the building products industry and adhesives. • Must be able to champion new business ventures. This will require excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner. • 60% travel. Additional Information The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000/ year. Job Description Reporting to the plant manager, the plant administrative assistant is responsible for providing Human Resources (HR) and administrative support to the site, as well as promoting positive employee relations through the support of plant and team member administrative needs. The administrative assistant will engage in coordinating the staffing and onboarding processes, supporting compliance with corporate and government requirements, leading the training administration processes, performing indirect buying activities and supporting general administrative needs of the site. This role is full-time, with standard hours Monday through Friday. In this role, you will work 8AM-5PM. Activities and duties may vary, depending upon site-specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to: • Coordinate the staffing activities for the Operations team by managing the contingent workforce and acting as HR consultant for the Talent Acquisition team. • Play an active role in the onboarding process: New-hire orientation, HR policies / benefits for all full-time new hires and temporary associates, ordering business cards, desk set up and coordinating office supplies, phone extensions and voicemail. • Manage and complete all payroll reporting for temporary associates / contractors. • Actively manage the communication stream of key business / site objectives and initiatives with the hourly workforce (e.g., flat screen communications, mass emails, intranet portal updates, etc.). • Manage office files and records, including confidential information and required compliance postings, in accordance with internal procedures. • Respond to routine questions on HR policies and procedures. • Assist site leadership with requests for data acquisition / analysis and other administrative services.
