Interface with Commercial, Program Deployment, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations to formulate and drive supply planning strategies including development of strategic inventory programs. Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value. Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transportation costs and efficiency - Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements Perform various activities to backup and maintain the flow of work in the department. Ensure staff is focused on process improvement. Mentor and provide development opportunities for staff, retain and identify development plans for high potential talent Implement and integrate Company EHS programs and develop facility specific procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and Company policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management/Logistics or related field required 5-7+ years Materials Management and Logistics experience, with 3+ year’s supervisory or lead experience preferred. Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies (e.g. continuous flow, cellular etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation. Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Software Solutions, ERP system experience is preferred (e.g. Oracle, SAP, etc.). Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential to lead and collaborate across a diverse and complex organization.
