Job Description Under the leadership of the Director, the Senior Manager, Accreditation and Professional Regulation, will be at the forefront of coordinating regulatory approval efforts with state and territory Boards of Nursing for both new and existing campuses. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining relationships with state boards and regulatory staff, acting as the key liaison for campus presidents, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong connections with state regulatory agencies to pave the way for new campus developments. Institutional Representation: Represent our institution to regulatory agencies, supporting both new campus initiatives and existing program changes. Regulatory Management: Oversee the approval processes for campus programs, including documentation, submission timing, visits, and responses. Collaborative Oversight: Work with the editor/writer to prepare and submit applications, self-studies, and reports, ensuring compliance with state nursing board requirements. Compliance Leadership: Ensure timely and appropriate handling of licensing and compliance issues in coordination with corporate departments. Qualifications MSN Degree Required/ DNP or PhD in Nursing Preferred CNE Preferred 5 + years Curricula and course development experience (online, blended, and onsite, preferred). Learning outcome/program evaluation experience (online, blended, and onsite, preferred) Evidence of application of active learning strategies and innovative teaching technologies in prior teaching experiences. Knowledge of educational and instructional theories and principles applicable to a variety of teaching & learning modalities. Job Description Opportunity at a Glance The Academic Program Coordinator is responsible for providing general support and specialization coordination within the program. The assistant will report to the Program Director for the program and work closely with the Faculty, Academic Advising team, Event/Residency team, the Registrar Office, and the College Administration team. Responsibilities Develop and/or maintain mechanisms to communicate Mentor and Doctoral Study policies and procedures to students, academic advising, and college administration (i.e., power point presentations, flowcharts, frequently asked questions, information handouts, web page, etc.). Monitor the implementation of policies and procedures related to Mentoring and Doctoral Study. Where such policies and procedures are lacking, the coordinator will assume initiative in developing proposals for improved policy. Coordinate with the administrative coordinator and staff in the timely communication of faculty mentor assignments to individual faculty and students to meet enrollment deadlines. Assist the program director in research relating to program initiatives. Assist the PD in monitoring and coordinating all catalog changes and updates for the Program. Assist in ensuring all Program changes are properly and timely communicated to all stakeholders by assisting with the timely distribution of communication documents. Assist the Director in the dissemination of proactive communications for faculty and learners. Assist the Program Director as needed in support of Business Accreditation initiatives. Gather data for the Program Director that will be used to monitor attrition levels to understand causes. Assist the Program Director in preparing and transmitting by mail, when indicated, their formal responses to students, using established approaches and templates, allowing for the Director's personalized response to the student. Coordinate with Academic Advising to support satisfactory student experience, including, as approved by the Program Director, outreach directly to students who have academic or process questions or matters of academic concern. Assist the Director in maintaining the data for faculty with respect to the institution's official Faculty Expertise Database. This will include follow-ups with faculty to ensure the data is entered and up to date. Assist the director in tracking faculty student loads to comply with Program goals. Assist the director in coordinating course lead assignments.
