Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day administrative and business operations of the branch • Ensure optimal workflow and productivity across department • Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and support • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and related financial tasks • Handle HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, terminations, performance evaluations, payroll, leave management, and workers’ compensation • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements • Coordinate and support internal and external audits • Lead the Safety Committee and ensure compliance with company safety policies • Perform other duties as needed to support ongoing operational needs Requirements: • College degree or equivalent professional experience required • Minimum 10 years of successful administrative experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role (preferred) • Excellent command of English (spoken, written, and reading) • Strong leadership and team management skills • Payroll experience strongly preferred • Experience in food distribution industry preferred • Familiarity with Japanese business practices and Asian food culture is a plus • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills • While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
