Join us! Your Role We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Director of Revenue Accounting to lead our critical revenue accounting operations. This is a demanding, high-visibility, "roll-up-your-sleeves" role ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is ready to get into the details while maintaining strategic oversight. You will have end-to-end ownership of all aspects of the revenue stream, including complex ASC 606 revenue recognition, commissions accounting, and the accounts receivable/collections function.Success in this role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to partner directly with the key stakeholders and executive leadership to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and scale our processes for rapid growth. What you’ll do Oversee the end-to-end global revenue recognition and AR process, driving the monthly close to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Manage the end-to-end invoicing and collections process. ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and adherence to contractual terms. Proactively monitor and implement strategies to maintain strong collections, optimizing cash flow and minimizing bad debt exposure. Manage the accounting for sales commissions, including the accurate amortization of capitalized costs and related financial reporting. Join us! Your Role We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant to lead and/or support onboarding for new customers and drive their implementation of our product. We’re also looking for someone who is excited to be hands-on and influence our product roadmap. As every business needs our type of product, you’ll work with a variety of new clients and industries as Zip scales. Current clients include Coinbase, Snowflake, Notion, Canva, Samsara, Databricks, etc. You Will • Supporting and/or leading onboarding for new customers, with a heavy emphasis on understanding requirements and creatively configuring the product to solve their problems • Responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation for new customers -- roll up your sleeves and build out the customer’s processes from scratch • Support and/or lead training and Q&A sessions with customers and key stakeholders to empower them to utilize the product without additional ongoing help from Zip • Proactive project management across many customers, to manage requirements and tasks across onboardings • Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to determine which customer requests we should and shouldn’t support, and set expectations with customers • Do whatever it takes to make customers happy + successfully onboard them as quickly as possible • Continuously improve the post-sales processes to help our customers accelerate the time to value Qualifications • 2+ years’ experience working in one of the following roles: Procurement/Sourcing Manager, ERP/P2P Systems Consultant, or managing key customer and stakeholder relationships in a B2B SaaS company • Prior experience with the implementation or administration of a procurement tool / ERP (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Ariba, Sage, Oracle Fusion, Netsuite, etc.) • Fantastic communication skills • Extreme attention to detail and pride yourself in being incredibly proactive • Experience working with product and engineering teams • You’re able to push back and still make people happy • Comfortable with software configuration (not necessarily technical skills, which would be a plus) • Willing to do whatever it takes to make Zip and its customers happy. The OTE compensation range for this role is $95,000 - 120,000 OTE. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include leveling, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
