The ideal candidate will have experience in private homes, assisted living or snf settings and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care while ensuring the safety and comfort of those you assist. Responsibilities • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation. • Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences. • Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information. • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space for clients. • Administer first aid or CPR when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements • Previous experience in assisted living, group home settings, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. • Knowledge of care plans and patient observation techniques is essential. • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients as needed. • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
