Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in private homes, assisted living or snf settings and possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care while ensuring the safety and comfort of those you assist. Responsibilities • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation. • Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences. • Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information. • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space for clients. • Administer first aid or CPR when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements • Previous experience in assisted living, group home settings, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. • Knowledge of care plans and patient observation techniques is essential. • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients as needed. • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
