The purpose of this project is to improve speech recognition technology for educational settings. By collecting natural speech from children, we’re helping make voice assistants more accurate and effective for classroom use. Task description: With your help, your child(ren) will: • Read a short passage aloud. • Answer a few fun and engaging questions about what they read, just like they would in school! • Have their responses recorded using our easy-to-use mobile app. Who is eligible? To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria: • Be over 18 years old. • Be the legal guardian of the child(ren) you are registering and sign the Parental Consent Form. • Have a smartphone device to download our app and use it for recording. Each child you register should meet the following qualifying criteria: • Be in the 2nd or 3rd grade (typically between ages 7-9). • Be a resident of the United States. • Be a native speaker of English (US). Where is the project taking place? This is a fully remote project. You can participate from the comfort of your home. How much is the compensation? You will receive up to $70 USD for your participation. General Referral Bonus Program We offer a referral bonus of $20 USD for each participant that you refer to the project who successfully completes 3 quality approved tasks. How long does it take? We estimate it will take up to 45 minutes to complete all the tasks. What You Will Be Doing: The Account Executive - Financial Services position is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients within our Financial Services practice group for our West Coast operations. Responsibilities included: • Manage and lead regional business development activities to drive new revenue • Develop prospective clients through several strategies, including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories,s and personal investigation • Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (trade shows, regional organizations, etc.) • Formulatea sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets • Present TransPerfect’s solutions via one-on-one, group, online, and in-person meetings. • Creatively problem solve to improve the current new business development strategy within the assigned regional market and vertical industry • Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients • Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including TransPerfect’s rates, justification for turnaround time, and competitors’ information • Develop a regional/national account strategy as well as program-level strategies to achieve the stated revenue and margin goals • Develop an effective understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of TransPerfect’s services • Effectively grow existing high-level customer relationships with clients Who We Are Looking For: Required Skills: • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • 3-5 years of sales experience • Proven sales life cycle experience - lead generation through business closing • Interest in or previous experience in Strategic Business Development • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills • Proven track record in achieving sales targets • Previous Account Management experience is beneficial but not essential Where Your Career Is Going: At TransPerfect, there are a lot of growth opportunities.
