Coordinate legal, commercial, compliance, and operations workstreams for a divestiture, managing deliverables, dependencies, communications, and timelines. | Requires 5+ years of project management, direct M&A or divestiture experience, legal and compliance project delivery, and familiarity with contract novation or commercial separation. | We are currently seeking a Project Manager - Divestiture (Legal, Commercial & Operations) for a prominent client of ours. This position is fully remote. Details for the position are as follows: Job Description: • Pay: $85/hr (W2) • 1-year assignment with potential to extend based on performance and business need • 100% remote position • You will support legal, contracts, compliance, GTM, and Ops workstreams within a confidential divestiture program • Coordinate across legal, compliance, commercial, and ops teams to manage contract novation, separation obligations, regulatory requirements, and commercial separation • Support commercial separation across Sales, Marketing, and Publishing Operations • Manage two parallel workstreams, ensuring project deliverables, dependencies, and priorities remain on track • Coordinate stakeholder communications, project reporting, and cross-functional alignment • Manage sensitive project workstreams with accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail • Navigate fast-moving, dependency-heavy environments while maintaining delivery timelines and priorities Qualifications: • 5+ years of hands-on, delivery-focused Project Management experience required • M&A, carve-out, or divestiture experience required • Experience working with Legal and Compliance teams in a project delivery capacity required • Familiarity with contract novation, contract renegotiation, or legal/commercial separation required • Experience delivering commercial or Go-to-Market change, ideally across Sales, Marketing, or Operations required • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or workstreams required • Go-to-Market or commercial operations separation experience preferred • Publishing or media industry experience preferred If you are interested in hearing more about the position, please respond to this posting with your resume attached.
