Responsibilities: • Cycle count and reconcile product inventory by storage location as directed • Participate in all Physical Inventories • Generate scheduled inventory status reports to monitor inventory transactions • Demonstrate safe ability to operate Sit down forklift • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies • Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems • Reports inventory accuracy percentage per requirement to appropriate leadership • Close jobs reported by the manufacturing department in our WMS system. • Candidate will be responsible to keep the dept inventory accurate as possible. • Perform other duties as assigned • Basic knowledge or experience in warehouse procedures. • Knowledge of computer applications and basic mathematics and computer skills. • Ability to meet deadlines. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Organizational skills. Requirements: • High School Diploma - required. Associates degree preferred. • 2 or more years of forklift experience • Must be able to communicate clearly in both oral and written form. • Must possess basic math skills and process simple mathematical functions. Must pay close attention to detail and accuracy. • Bilingual a plus. Physical Requirements: • Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. • Able to work in non-temperature-controlled environment. • Able to wear required PPE such as eye and protection and protective clothing.
