The SDA team is responsible for working with internal company stakeholders to build analytical solutions. The Business Data Analyst Intern will touch all stages of our analytics implementation process, including client requirements gathering, upfront analysis, documentation, as well as data modeling and report development activities. Your Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders and clients, translating complex technical information into easy-to-understand terms for the business and converting business requirements into technical specifications for development teams. Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements gathering, validating data source systems, functional specifications, and UI/UX expectations. Clearly document requirements and functional specifications, creating mock-ups, prototypes, ad-hoc queries, and other artifacts to support these requirements. Define and track key metrics, determining how to measure and collect the necessary data. Translate new business requests into formal proposals, including drafting statements of work, timelines, deliverable expectations, and scopes of work. Develop visualizations and reports grounded in statistical best practices to effectively communicate results and key findings to internal customers. Educate users on how to use and interpret analytical dashboards.
