Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors JOB SUMMARY: Position is responsible for utilizing strong decision making, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills between multiple stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate integration of suppliers into Sysco's North America network including, but not limited to, Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and Forward Warehouse Supplier Negotiation and Adoptions, Category Management Award to PO, Enterprise Supplier Service Level, Compliance and Freight Revenue Management. Critical to success is managing multiple Supply Chain Managers, setting team direction, strategy, and timelines for given initiatives along with hiring, coaching, training, and executing disciplinary actions. Understanding priorities is necessary to resolve resource and workload conflicts as a result of competing priorities. These responsibilities require the Sr. Manager to acquire a deep understanding of each initiative and the effect their collective supplier base has on the enterprise. Since Supply Chain Managers (SCMs) are the primary supply chain contact for each supplier and own the integration process, soliciting input from other organizations will be necessary to augment his/her own understanding in order to successfully achieve department goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and implement team integration plans, defining roles and responsibilities for the SCMs. • Manage multiple integration work-streams concurrently. • Manage team meetings and support SCM negotiations. • Identify and implement improvements on existing operating models and resolve resource constraints. • Review and where necessary define metrics to track productivity, identify areas of improvement and anticipate future obstacles in multiple work-streams allowing for the mitigation of any negative impact on the supply chain. • Promote and model Coaching and Maximizing Performance skills and behaviors. • Hire, train, coach, and lead all directly assigned personnel, as well as, responsibility for disciplining and providing on-going formal and informal feedback to direct reports. • Develop and manage relationships with SMS Merchandising including SMS Sourcing Category Management, Supply Chain team leads, Operating Companies, Suppliers, National Sales, and CMU Customers where necessary. • Address and resolve escalated Supplier concerns timely and effectively. • Prepare annual goals/metrics and report and manage actual achievements to plan. • Other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Experience • Bachelor's Degree required (Supply Chain or Industrial Distribution preferred) with 6 years of direct Supply Chain experience and 2 years of relevant management experience. • MBA a plus. Professional Skills: • Self-motivated and persistent Manager able to work at the general and detailed levels • Strong analytical, problem solving, and written and oral communication skills • Proficient use of standard business software products, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to develop and execute high-level project plans • Ability to lead teams or groups in a matrix organization • Ability to manage multiple work streams with conflicting objectives • Ability to create effective negotiation strategy, taking into account the needs of multiple vested parties • Anticipate and take ownership in resolving all business issues related to managed work streams • Strong organizational skills • Understanding of complex supply chains Physical Demands: • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. • The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
