Title: Software Project Manager (Contract) Pay Rate: $79/hr (W-2) Schedule: 40 hour/week Hybrid: 3 days on-site / 2 days remote Summary: Seeking a highly organized and proactive Software Project Manager to lead and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of software initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the project roadmap, overseeing sprint planning and scrum ceremonies, ensuring timely and accurate status reporting, and optimizing resource allocation. Your work will drive alignment across teams and ensure high-impact delivery through effective prioritization and tracking of all initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in managing complex software programs within fast-paced, Agile development environments. As a Project Manager, you'll: - Define, maintain, and communicate the software development roadmap in partnership with product teams and key stakeholders. - Drive alignment across multiple initiatives by clearly documenting and communicating timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables. - Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; facilitate daily stand-ups and other Agile ceremonies to support on-time delivery. - Establish and maintain consistent tracking and reporting mechanisms, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. - Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, removing blockers, managing team capacity, and reinforcing Agile best practices. - Monitor resource availability, coordinate capacity planning, and proactively identify resourcing gaps or allocation challenges. - Partner with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize work based on business value, team velocity, and technical dependencies.
