SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Senior Recruiter, Technical to join our Talent Acquisition Team, reporting directly to our Talent Acquisition Manager. We’re growing rapidly and building teams that innovate at the intersection of technology, insurance, and risk management. In this role, you’ll partner directly with business leaders to attract top technical talent across engineering, product, data, and innovation. You’ll be the go-to recruiter for some of our most impactful and specialized roles, using your expertise in sourcing and relationship-building to connect exceptional candidates with opportunities to shape the future of insurance technology. What you’d be doing: Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates. Partner with leaders across Software, Program Operations, Data & Analytics, and Innovation to understand hiring needs and build tailored recruiting strategies. Proactively source passive talent through creative channels and market mapping. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and engagement throughout the process. Coach and advise hiring managers on interview best practices, market insights, and talent strategies. Collaborate with the TA Manager on process improvements, data-driven reporting, and candidate/hiring manager experience initiatives. Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition projects, such as recruiter enablement, interview training, and leveraging Greenhouse Recruiting to its fullest potential. Stay current with market trends, particularly in insurance-focused tech (catastrophe risk, insurance innovation, home services, etc.), to inform sourcing strategies. We’re looking for someone who has: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical roles. Proven success sourcing and closing candidates in software engineering, program operations, design, data science, or related technical fields. Strong business acumen and ability to partner with executives and senior leaders as a trusted advisor. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple requisitions, and balance competing priorities. Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS), ideally Greenhouse Recruiting. Highly preferred candidates also have: Experience recruiting in insurance, fintech, or insurtech environments. Familiarity with insurance-focused technical roles (e.g., catastrophe risk modeling, insurance innovation, home services technology). Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in recruiting practices (e.g., sourcing, screening, or workflow optimization); AI certifications a strong plus. Knowledge of market trends and talent strategies for niche technical roles. Previous experience contributing to process improvements, data-driven recruiting, or ATS optimization. Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic talent advisor, coaching hiring managers and improving recruiter best practices.
