Our Cybersecurity Technical Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Security Tools. This position will be 100% remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The Cybersecurity software development position is an individual contributor working with a team of developers maturing solutions within the Raytheon portfolio. This individual will partner with Raytheon Global Security Service (GSS) counterparts across Raytheon working closely with Digital Technology partners to ensure alignment to facilitate requirements and automate, where possible. This position will be part of an agile team working to develop applications in alignment with Raytheon leadership to create new capabilities on existing software applications as well as create new applications. What You Will Do Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern. The Authorizations Management team plays a key role in ensuring compliance with Global Trade (GT) export authorization requirements across Pratt & Whitney’s (P&W) footprint. As part of the Global Trade Requirements Management (GTRM) organization, the Authorizations Management team develops the policies, processes, and tools that govern the compliance framework for the enterprise’s global authorization portfolio. This position will be responsible for sustaining and enhancing P&W’s instances of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). This will include maturing and documenting processes that underpin the configuration and use of the application, with a focus on building knowledge across the enterprise and identifying areas of risk and improvement. The role will work closely with GT and Digital Technology (DT) peers across both P&W and RTX to benchmark best practices and opportunities for standardization. Additionally, the candidate will provide support for the enterprise upgrade to S4HANA/E4H, ensuring continuation of P&W processes throughout the transition. The successful candidate will be adaptable to regularly changing priorities, be able to manage projects with minimal supervision, and have a record of success working with cross-functional teams. The individual must be a self-starter who is able to identify business needs and respond accordingly.
