Raytheon is seeking a Senior Manager, Position to Win (ASDS) to analyze competitive intelligence and conduct Position to Win (PoTW) analysis. The Senior Manager will support the Air and Space Defense Systems Strategic (ASDS) Business Unit. Duties include synthesizing intelligence from primary and secondary sources to recommend Raytheon’s most strategic positioning on US and international pursuits. The Senior Manager regularly presents findings and recommendations to executive level audiences. The Senior Manager works closely yet independently with cross-functional teams to determine competitor technical solution(s), bid strategy and probable behavior. The Senior Manager requires a strong ability to apply creative initiative in PTW analysis, tools, methodologies, and practices. The Senior Manager will have a record of success in building support, motivating others, promoting teamwork, fostering open communication, establishing trust, and showing adaptability. What You Will Do Lead the development and execution of Position-to-Win strategies for high-value pursuits across the portfolio Drive competitive intelligence efforts, including competitor assessments, win/loss analysis, and customer value modeling Lead and facilitate Black Hat, Blue Team, and other competitive strategy workshops; synthesize findings into actionable strategy recommendations Develop independent Price-To-Win analysis that leads to a competitive bid strategy recommendation based on a variety of PTW methodologies to develop estimates of prospective competitor offerings using cost and statistical modeling tools Partner closely with Capture Managers, Pricing, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to shape discriminating strategies and early solutioning Deliver executive-ready briefings with clear recommendations rooted in data, market signals, and technical insight Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy in their advocation and development of new technologies and our solutions Travel to SCIF 25%-50% in El Segundo, CA, Aurora, CO and/or Dulles, VA Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of DoD experience, or an Advanced Degree and 7 years’ experience Minimum of 5 years of capture or proposal experience Experience analyzing, interpreting and responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) Qualifications We Prefer Knowledge of Raytheon Space portfolio, capabilities, and products Familiarity with Raytheon’s major competitors and with associated competitor/industry knowledge Experience with parametric cost modeling tools (e.g., PRICE, SEER, ACE) or competitive cost modeling 2+ years’ experience working in classified environment Understanding of current technology, engineering disciplines, rapid development programs, and architecture costing What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
