As a Supervisor of Baird’s Global Investment Banking's professional support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that your team manages all administrative tasks, enabling our bankers to concentrate on core business functions. This position offers flexibility to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Chicago office and Monday and Friday remote. The Impact You’ll Make: Collaborate with the Professional Support Talent Director to plan and execute support staff growth initiatives, ensuring that they align with boarder departmental goals. Support the Executive Assistants (EA), who are responsible for aiding our banking professionals with their daily administrative needs. Ensure that quality standards are met, and GIB procedures are followed. Maintain team engagement and bolster business development knowledge through staff meetings and group training sessions. Provide routine 1:1 coaching session to help the EA sustain / improve basic competencies, create high performance and productivity, and achieve their professional goals. Address and resolve any interpersonal issues that arise, providing guidance and support to the team. Collaborate with Professional Support Talent Director to prepare for semi-annual / annual evaluations performance reviews. Participate in recruitment efforts, including reviewing resumes, screening, and interview panels. Develop and maintain relationships with direct reports and key internal business partners to ensure the support team is exercising best practices. Continuously evaluate and reinforce processes and procedures to ensure efficiency. Stay up to date on industry trends and professional procedures and incorporate them into our team's operations where appropriate. What You’ll Bring to Baird: 2+ years of experience with a financial services background required. 5+ years of experience as a proven people leader and team management preferred. 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant or similar role with significant transferable skills preferred. Strategic and analytic thinker with a drive towards execution and delivering results. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, Workday, Salesforce, Concur, and SharePoint preferred. Proficient using virtual communication tools Teams, Zoom, Webex. Experience with AI tools (Chat GPT, Copilot) a plus Minimal travel expectations required. Compensation and Benefits: $80-120 base salary range.
