This role will focus on team management, escalations, and process improvement while also providing support to project oversight in partnership with the Project Manager. This is a hybrid role based in Queens County, NY. Starting at $115,000/year. L2–3 Desktop Manager’s Responsibilities And Duties • Manage and mentor the desktop support team, overseeing L2 and L3 escalations. • Partner with the Project Manager to assist with project oversight and ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Define and monitor KPIs to measure team performance and drive continuous improvement. • Identify and address areas of improvement in both people and processes. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellent customer service. • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, policies, and best practices. L2–3 Desktop Manager’s Qualifications And Skills • At least 7 years of progressive experience in desktop support or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Strong background in managing L2–L3 escalations and leading technical teams. • Experience developing KPIs and driving operational improvements. • Hands-on technical expertise earlier in career with a deep understanding of desktop support environments. • Healthcare industry experience highly preferred (essentially required). • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
