Full Description

Our client is seeking an experienced L2–3 Desktop Manager to lead their desktop support team. This role will focus on team management, escalations, and process improvement while also providing support to project oversight in partnership with the Project Manager. This is a hybrid role based in Queens County, NY. Starting at $115,000/year. L2–3 Desktop Manager’s Responsibilities And Duties • Manage and mentor the desktop support team, overseeing L2 and L3 escalations. • Partner with the Project Manager to assist with project oversight and ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Define and monitor KPIs to measure team performance and drive continuous improvement. • Identify and address areas of improvement in both people and processes. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellent customer service. • Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, policies, and best practices. L2–3 Desktop Manager’s Qualifications And Skills • At least 7 years of progressive experience in desktop support or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Strong background in managing L2–L3 escalations and leading technical teams. • Experience developing KPIs and driving operational improvements. • Hands-on technical expertise earlier in career with a deep understanding of desktop support environments. • Healthcare industry experience highly preferred (essentially required). • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
