ResiCentral is hiring a Broker Support Specialist to guide brokers through the loan process—from conditional approval to funding—while delivering top-tier service and support. Job Summary You will be responsible for assisting clients during the origination lifecycle of a loan from conditional approval through funding. The position will proactively assist clients in meeting outstanding conditions, underwriting conditions, compliance needs and provide customer service to clients. This position is a full‑time, Monday–Friday role with standard hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST. Duties/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. * Be a subject matter expert on all loan products offered by the company and the underwriting requirements for each loan product. * Maintain constant communication regarding condition status, file movement and current turn times. * Ability to answer general questions regarding pricing and points & fees compliance fails. * Have a thorough understanding of the processes required to successfully move a loan from conditional approval to funding. * Monitor a pipeline of active loans submitted by clients. Manage target closing dates and expiring locks. * Review conditional approval upon issuance from Underwriting and work with client to understand and upload underwriting conditions on suspended or approved loans. * Act as the liaison between sales and operations for all client needs. * Assist with other support teams when back up is needed. * Perform weekly pipeline calls with sales and clients. * Review daily reports to monitor and address lock expirations. * Assist new brokers, new loan officers, new processors and new AEs learning the systems. * Basic restructuring of loans and product changes, assisting clients with the COC process. Required Skills/Abilities * Three years or more experience in mortgage operations or a mortgage support function * Preferred Wholesale mortgage experience with Encompass * Must be able to type 35 wpm, operate a 10-key calculator and be familiar with on-line data operations. * Must have ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and manage priorities daily. * Strong written/verbal communication skills. Willingness to make calls to clients. * Unwavering attention to detail. * Provide exemplary service in all client interactions and communications; always uphold the ResiCentral service standards and exercise good judgment. Job Summary Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of underwriting decisions and processes as well as providing exceptional service to all stakeholders involved. This requires extensive knowledge of our underwriting guidelines including agency, jumbo, and government loans and the ability to address complex loan scenarios. The role requires the ability to manage a pipeline of loans assigned each day proactively and effectively while maintaining SLAs on all job tasks. In addition, the ability to communicate underwriting decisions and provide needed documentation to Sales and Broker Clients accurately and clearly. Duties/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. • Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients • Answer Underwriting scenarios submitted by Sales and be available to discuss items with Sales team • Be a resource to Underwriting Team (2nd signs, Level 2 and Level 3 trainings, volume overflow) • Supervise Underwriters (work with them on PFA’s, answer their questions) • Manage Pipeline Velocity and ensure assignment completion • Diagnosing and resolving loans that have fallen off the tracks • Resolving all escalations and enforcing the escalation policy • Aggregating escalation data and including into report • Review pipeline to identify loans that not moving forward and identify a solution • Review and sign off on conditions if escalated • Be on rotation and carry a pipeline due to volume overflow and backup a team member • Maintain UW knowledge by attending all weekly calls, continuous training seminars, etc. Required Skills/Abilities • Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as DU and LPA • Entrepreneurial spirit: You are passionate about the ever-changing industry and thinking outside the box in an ambiguous start-up environment where everything does not always happen in 8 hours • Self-starter with strong work ethics and professionalism • Team-player and able to work autonomously to meet critical deadlines • Flexible with the ability to roll-up your sleeves to get things done • Strong written/verbal communication skills. • Unwavering attention to detail. • Provide exemplary service in all client interactions and communications; always uphold the ResiCentral service standards and exercise good judgment.
