This role is full-stack in platform engineering — combining deep architecture expertise with hands-on execution across Linux, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and cross-region/bare-metal environments. This is not a DBA-only role. The ideal candidate has independently built and operated production-grade, multi-region platforms and can handle networking, automation, and infrastructure challenges without heavy guidance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and optimize HA open-source database platforms (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, TiDB) across multiple regions and bare-metal/cloud environments • Troubleshoot replication failures, slow queries, performance bottlenecks, and availability incidents independently • Lead Infrastructure as Code automation initiatives using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines • Ensure data protection, backup, and recovery across production and non-production environments • Collaborate on networking architecture and cross-region platform deployments • Participate in on-call rotations supporting critical systems • Partner with engineering teams to define architecture and enforce best practices Required Skills & Experience: • Deep Linux expertise (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky, Ubuntu), including package management, compiling, and managing code locally • Strong experience with HA MariaDB/PostgreSQL/TiDB in production, multi-AZ/multi-region environments • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code • Strong cross-region/bare-metal infrastructure and networking knowledge • Development experience in Golang and/or Python for automation and tooling • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems independently without relying on enterprise tools or vendors • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teams and stakeholders • Proven ability to recall and apply previous experience, not just theoretical knowledge Why This Role: This is a highly senior, hands-on platform role where independence, deep technical expertise, and multi-region/cloud experience are critical. You will work directly on the client’s engineering team, influencing architecture and day-to-day platform reliability while collaborating across teams. Lead sales initiatives to generate new business, maintain client relationships, manage recruiting teams, and ensure contract compliance. | 8+ years sales experience with 6+ years in staffing/recruiting, strong communication and marketing skills, and preferably a bachelor's degree. | The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with known decision makers to build new business for the company. This candidate will strategically plan their approach to clients and offer compelling solutions to cater for client's needs. They are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals. Responsibilities • Generate and qualify requisitions from new / inactive accounts and existing relationships. • Generate and sign an MSA with 2 new clients or 1 Fortune 1000 client in first 90 days. • Prospect and set meetings with key decision makers with new and inactive accounts focused on relationship-based selling. • Create and maintain a business plan with targeted new accounts utilizing Red Oak Sales methodology. Develop strategy for pro-marketing / candidate marketing. • Develop business through research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and face to face appointments with clientele. Research potential new business and current client and update target list. • Obtain and Maintain active participation and membership in applicable networking organizations. • Meet all minimum requirements for weekly client meetings, 8-10 CMs with 50% in person and revenue growth. • Complete the required sales documentation into CRM. Maintain and manage integrity of data. • Manage recruiting teams to ensure delivery to client’s requisitions. • Meet with inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all client service priorities and business/sales opportunities. • Design and write client proposals. • Manage internal controls and contract compliance. Qualifications • 8+ years of Sales experience required. • 6+ years of direct sales experience within the Staffing/Recruiting Industry. • Previous experience managing, servicing, supporting, developing and generating client relationships. • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Strong knowledge of successful marketing strategies • Focused and goal-oriented
