What You Will Be Doing: Lead Pure’s go-to-market efforts as the first sales hire, responsible for acquiring new merchants (dealers, institutions, collectors) to join the marketplace. Build and own the merchant acquisition strategy: prospecting, outreach, pipeline development, and deal closing. Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the precious metals and rare coin ecosystem, understanding their business needs and positioning Pure as the trusted partner. Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership to refine merchant onboarding, feedback loops, and growth strategies. Create repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and metrics that will form the foundation of Pure’s future commercial team. Represent Pure at industry events, trade shows, and in direct conversations with high-value merchants. Report directly to the founders on sales performance, pipeline health, and strategic opportunities. Who You Are: 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or go-to-market roles, ideally in financial services, fintech, marketplaces, or related industries. Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing high-value B2B partnerships or merchant accounts. Comfortable as a player-coach who is willing to do the work of prospecting and closing, while also building the systems for scale. Entrepreneurial and resourceful: able to operate in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. Excellent communicator and relationship builder: able to gain trust with merchants, understand their needs, and deliver solutions. Data-driven and metrics-oriented: you measure progress, optimize efforts, and refine processes. Passion for building from the ground up and being part of an early-stage team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with dealers, collectors, or financial institutions. Previous success at a marketplace, trading platform, or fintech company. Understanding of commodities, collectibles, or high-value asset markets. Experience building and scaling sales teams. What You Will Be Doing: Receive packages, shipments, and deliveries; verify contents (quantity, condition, matching invoices or packing slips) Unpack, sort, and stage incoming items for verification and processing Assist in the verification process: check items against records, inspect for damage, document discrepancies Place verified inventory into storage/vault or designated holding areas, ensuring correct labeling and organization Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to prescribed packing methods and shipping instructions Maintain inventory records in our system: record receipts, transfers, depletions; support periodic inventory audits Assist with order fulfillment tasks, including staging items and supporting team and workflows Keep the warehouse, staging, and fulfillment areas clean, organized, and safe; follow all safety and security protocols Who You Are: Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, or similar role (experience with high value or sensitive items is a plus) Detail-oriented and reliable; you take care to verify, double-check, and maintain accuracy Able to follow established processes and standards consistently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical tasks (lifting, moving, carrying) Good communicator: able to report discrepancies, escalate issues, follow written instructions Basic computer skills; experience with inventory tracking systems or warehouse software a plus Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling precious metals, rare coins, or other collectibles Experience with vaulting or secure storage procedures Familiarity with packing/shipping best practices Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing, bending, etc. What We Offer: Flexible work arrangements: Remote, hybrid, or in-office in L.A. What You Will Be Doing: Oversee all warehouse and fulfillment operations, including receiving, intake, verification, storage, vaulting, and outbound shipments. Supervise and train Warehouse Technicians: assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and control across all stages: intake, processing, storage, and fulfillment. Implement and enforce operational processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company standards. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure orders and transactions are processed smoothly. Ensure packaging, shipping, and handling standards are consistently met. Track performance metrics such as efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time, and identify areas for improvement. Uphold security, safety, and compliance requirements for precious metals and rare coins. Support daily workflows with hands-on involvement as needed. Who You Are: Have 3+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics management (experience with precious metals, collectibles, or other high-value assets is a plus). Strong knowledge of warehouse operations: receiving, inventory management, fulfillment, and shipping. Process-oriented with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience supervising and training team members. Able to identify operational issues and implement improvements. Familiar with warehouse systems and tools (inventory management software, shipping systems, WMS/ERP). Effective communicator, able to set clear expectations and coordinate across teams. Dependable, disciplined, and consistent in maintaining compliance and accuracy. Bonus: Experience handling high-value or sensitive assets. Knowledge of vaulting, secure storage, or chain-of-custody practices. Familiarity with OSHA standards, warehouse safety, or security protocols. What You Will Be Doing: Lead and own critical features and subsystems end-to-end - from design through to deployment. You will make key technical decisions, set priorities, and deliver fast without sacrificing quality. Build, maintain, and scale our marketplace backend including order matching / order-book logic with concurrency, correctness, and speed in mind; transaction flows, payments, reconciliation; ensuring data integrity, auditability, resilience. Build and refine our frontend / UI/UX using TypeScript + Next.js: translate designer UX flows into high quality components; optimize performance (SSR vs client side, code splitting, lazy loading, etc.). Work deeply with PostgreSQL: data modeling, query optimization, indexing, schema design, ensuring performance as data and load grow. Develop and improve internal tools (“Nimbus”) for accounting, logistics, operations dashboards, fraud detection, monitoring, etc. Lead small teams or mentor other developers: provide code reviews, help unblock teammates, set best practices. Drive process improvements, technical architecture, testing strategy, observability. Be hands-on in incidents or urgent problems. Who You Are: Have 3+ years of full stack engineering experience (or equivalent), especially in startup or fast-paced environments. Are comfortable leading yourself and others - owning features / systems, guiding teammates, making decisions. Are hands-on: you write and ship code, prototype, fix bugs, and also think about architecture and scalability. Strong front-end experience with TypeScript + Next.js, good eye for UX / UI, performance, accessibility. Strong backend experience: Node.js (or similar), working with PostgreSQL, comfortable with designing schema, writing efficient queries, handling transactions and consistency. Excellent problem solver: you understand trade-offs between speed, maintainability, architecture, and are pragmatic. Good communicator: able to translate business / operations / design needs into technical work, and explain trade-offs. Self-driven, independent: you do not need constant supervision; you push things forward, and also know when to ask for feedback. Bonus: Experience building marketplaces, matching engines, or financial or trading systems. Experience working with design systems, component libraries, or UI frameworks.
