Press Ganey currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer. This role will support the Clinical Solutions products. Duties & Responsibilities: Design and implement software front end application enhancements and bug fixes given general instructions Participates in iteration and release planning Adheres to core design and testing principles Understands and interprets detailed technical specifications Follows and updates the design specifications as needed Learns and follow standards, processes and procedures Authors supporting documentation Prepares own work for inclusion in the release/deployment management process Participates in peer technical reviews Troubleshoots identified problems and provides support and follow-up for issues Completes assigned design tasks within the time allotted Mentors Software Developers Responsible for the quality of work that the team members perform. Project Managers are chiefly responsible for facilitating an exceptionally high level of project execution for our clients. Specific job responsibilities include facilitation and execution of projects/surveys on schedule and within budget throughout a project lifecycle. You will build and maintain key relationships with our clients. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience, including 4+ years in Market Research or Research Insights, with a proven ability to lead large, complex, or enterprise level programs. Demonstrated success building and sustaining consultative, trust based client relationships, serving as the primary client lead for multi phase or multi country initiatives. Strong command of survey operations and fieldwork workflows, with familiarity in research methodology, sampling logic, and data interpretation concepts (preferred but not required). Experienced and technically adept Director of Software Engineering to lead the development of our HRP/Safety SaaS application hosted on Azure Cloud. This role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep expertise in Microsoft .NET and MSSQL who can balance high-level architectural vision, process leadership, and hands-on technical problem-solving. The Director will drive engineering excellence, guide the transition to a Kubernetes-based platform, Automated Testing, and ensure high scalability and reliability while keeping the team focused on delivering top priorities. Responsibilities Leadership & Vision Lead and mentor a cross-functional Agile engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable SaaS solutions. Align the long-term technical strategy and architecture for the platform with the companywide vision. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Technical Strategy & Architecture Oversee architecture decisions, ensuring solutions align with business goals, scalability, and cloud best practices. Drive modernization efforts, including migration to Kubernetes for improved reliability and scalability. Collaborate with product and operations teams to reduce production downtime and improve system resilience. Process & Delivery Optimize Agile processes to keep teams focused on priorities and minimize distractions. Establish engineering best practices for CI/CD, testing, and monitoring that align with overall company vision. Define and track metrics for system uptime, performance, and delivery speed. Hands-On Technical Support Serve as a senior technical advisor capable of diving into complex .NET or SQL code to help solve high-impact issues. Guide teams through complex debugging, performance tuning, and architectural decisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in a leadership role managing Agile teams. Proven expertise in Microsoft .NET, MSSQL, and Azure Cloud architecture. Experience leading cloud-native transformations and Kubernetes migrations. Strong understanding of scalable SaaS architectures and high-availability systems. Demonstrated ability to reduce production downtime and improve operational resilience. Strong leadership skills with a track record of keeping teams focused on high-priority initiatives. Ability to balance hands-off leadership with occasional hands-on coding and technical problem-solving. Preferred Skills Experience with microservices architecture and containerization. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting) for Azure environments. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $172,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
