What You Will Be Doing: Client Management • Lead and oversee multiple client initiatives or programs from conception through execution. • Manages small work streams across multiple client accounts, ensuring timely delivery and coordination. Comms Specific • Content Creation: Creates a wide range of high-quality communication materials, including strategy memos, presentations, press releases, talking points, op-eds, and speeches. Collaboration • Work collaboratively across communications, data, creative, and paid advertising departments on behalf of clients; builds relationships within Precision. • Well-prepared for meetings-offers clear updates, anticipates questions, and proposes solutions and next steps. • Guides junior staff and interns, by reviewing and editing junior team members' work and providing written and verbal feedback. Project & Time Management • Owns assigned tasks (e.g. understanding how work ladders up to the larger goal, meets deadlines without reminders, organizes documents for team sharing, comfortable with a variety of tools and hard skills, can manage multiple projects at once, manages up, if necessary). • Meets deadlines set by client lead. Strategy • Produces clear, persuasive content based on client strategy with minimal guidance; regularly seeks feedback and reviews and edits junior team members' work. • Proactively uses available tools and sources to research and apply informed judgment to decisions, ensuring work aligns with strategy and long-term goals. • Identifies potential issues or strategy gaps early, recommends adjustments, and supports teams in course-correcting. What We Are Looking For: • 4+ years of experience in a communications role either in-house, agency, political campaign, government or consultancy environment. This is a unique opportunity to create systematic resource management processes while actively managing day-to-day capacity planning for our growing agency. You'll be both the architect and operator of how we deploy our most valuable asset: our people. What You Will Be Doing: Process Development & Maintenance • Design and implement resource planning workflows that work for our current scale while accommodating future growth. This includes creating visibility tools and reporting mechanisms that help leadership make informed staffing decisions, and establishing protocols for capacity planning, skill tracking, and workload balancing that can scale across both locations and our diverse service offerings. • Implement and maintain resource management tools and processes. • Recommend improvements to resourcing workflows that promote efficiency and transparency. Daily Resource Allocation Management • Manage real-time client account staffing across the agency to ensure high-quality work, efficiency, employee satisfaction, and appropriate staff utilization. This includes providing staffing suggestions for new client accounts, taking into account project needs, employee skill sets, and availability. • Manage and maintain the master resourcing plan across teams and projects. • Develop a deep understanding of individual employee skill sets to more effectively staff teams, balancing both employee satisfaction and utilization targets. • Proactively identify potential resourcing issues, gaps, or overages and provide actionable solutions. Capacity Forecasting & Planning • Track and analyze staff utilization, capacity, and workload distribution across the agency, including preparing and analyzing weekly and monthly reporting to inform hiring and staffing decisions. • Monitor project budgets, provide reporting, and escalate issues. • Assist in developing resource forecasts for new business opportunities and client growth. What We Are Looking For: • 4+ years of relevant experience in resource management, project management, or agency operations, preferably within PR, consulting, marketing, creative, or agency environments. • Strong understanding of agency structure and workflows. • Systems thinking combined with hands-on execution. You can see the big picture of how resource allocation impacts campaign integration and client outcomes while being comfortable with detailed day-to-day management of people and projects across multiple disciplines. • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
