Key Responsibilities: • Identify and research potential NGOs and government partners for collaboration and partnership opportunities. • Build and maintain relations with a comprehensive list of relevant NGOs and government entities. • Develop and implement strategies to increase partnerships and civic engagement within the NGO and government sectors. Qualifications: • Proven experience in professional communications, building and maintaining contact lists. • 5 years experience supporting business development. • Experience serving as Business Development Lead with a small marketing team. • Demonstrated experience researching opportunities and building a pipeline. • Strong understanding of civic engagement and modern democracy challenges. • Proficient in using Hubspot and other marketing and sales tools (such as Microsoft Office, Slack, Google applications, LinkedIn and other social platforms). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Experience in product beta testing and launch is a plus. • Be flexible, able to work in a collaborative environment, and work independently or collaboratively. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and superior interpersonal skills are a must. • Demonstrated experience identifying, conducting outreach to, and building relationships with client acquisition and program staff to garner information about opportunities and market company. About the position - Pinion is moving from a web MVP to a user oriented, interactive environment that utilizes our distinctive engagement mechanism. We are seeking a front end/full stack developer to help us design and build out solutions that users will love and customers will value. An ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working in a remote startup environment, where you’re dealing with a lot of moving parts but still have an eye for detail. Qualifications and Soft Skills • Data management experience - data entry, spreadsheets, analytics creation and publishing. • Preferred experience working with APIs and data connectivity tools. • Experience working with social media platform analytics. • Experience with Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) tools. • Interest in politics, democracy, civic engagement processes and legislative content. • Technical background working with large data sets and in databases. • Experience with modern tools for data management and data/content strategy. • Technical degree preferred but not required.
