Overview And Responsibilities The Applied Machine Learning Group is seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale systems that power content understanding, metadata enrichment, and personalization across Paramount's global content catalog. In this role, you will work on the core infrastructure and internal tools that enable high- quality metadata ingestion and curation directly impacting content discovery, recommendations, and user experience across Paramount's streaming portfolio. This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of content, data, and machine learning, partnering closely with ML engineers, product teams, and data stakeholders to bring metadata-driven experiences to life. CBS Digital is seeking a Sr. Lead Product Manager to lead backend platform strategy and execution for our affiliate sports betting business. This role is responsible for coordinating the development of scalable, compliant, and reusable services that power core betting integrations—including odds ingestion, market data, affiliate tracking, geo-compliance, and partner enablement! You will work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, partnerships, and content groups to deliver backend capabilities that support rapid growth, regulatory alignment, and seamless partner experiences. The ideal candidate brings a proven understanding of platform product management, a strategic mentality, and experience operating in highly regulated, data-rich environments! Key Responsibilities: • Product Strategy: Develop and drive the product strategy for our betting affiliate products, including long-term vision, feature roadmap, and market positioning. • Technical Leadership: Provide leadership across affiliate betting technologies—such as odds ingestion, market feed integration, affiliate tracking, compliance gating, and partner enablement systems. • User-Centric Approach: Champion a user-centric product development process, ensuring that the end-user experience is at the forefront of all decisions. • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competition, and new technologies to find opportunities for innovation and improvement. • Quality Assurance: Partner with engineering and legal to ensure products meet regulatory standards, maintain platform reliability, and support high-quality affiliate experiences. • Product Development: Coordinate the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and requirements capturing to release and maintenance. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and quality assurance. • Roadmap Management: Define and maintain a clear product roadmap, outlining priorities, feature sets, requirements, and delivery timelines. • Customer Focus: Work closely with customers and partners to capture feedback, understand their needs, and translate these insights into product improvements. • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions and continuously improve products. • Product Launch: Drive successful product launches by coordinating across multiple delivery teams and measuring the efficiency of product launches. • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators and regularly assess product performance against these metrics, making data-driven decisions. • Product Costing: Optimize product costs and resources allocated to the sports affiliate product portfolio. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a suitable technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar) or equivalent experience. • 15 + years experience in a technical product management, backend platforms or infrastructure in digital media, gaming, or sports betting. • Deep technical knowledge of backend technologies supporting sports betting workflows, including odds ingestion, market data integration, affiliate tracking systems, geo-compliance, and partner APIs. • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful products. • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical partners. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. • Familiarity with agile development methodologies. • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in the digital sports and affiliate ecosystem. Additional Information Hiring Salary Range: $156,800.00 - 180,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
