Serving 340B-covered entities such as FQHCs and Ryan White grantees, this role provides executive oversight of field operations and strategic accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with both client goals and enterprise priorities. This leader will partner cross-functionally to lead initiatives that improve scalability, client satisfaction, and financial performance. Manage pharmacy technician staffing and scheduling, support pharmacy managers and PICs operationally, ensure compliance with 340B program requirements, and provide onsite and remote support across multiple pharmacy sites. | High school diploma or higher, active pharmacy technician certification, minimum 5 years as pharmacy technician with supervisory experience, and experience in outpatient or community pharmacy settings. | Description: The Pharmacy Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting the operational effectiveness of a region of pharmacies managed by the organization in partnership with 340B-covered entities such as FQHCs and Ryan White clinics. This position reports up to the Regional Director of Pharmacy Operations to provide day-to-day operational support to Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacists-in-Charge (PICs), ensures adequate staffing and scheduling coverage across multiple sites, assists with training and onboarding, and serves as a trusted resource for both pharmacy teams and client partners. • Coordinate and manage pharmacy technician and staff scheduling across the region to ensure appropriate coverage, including oversight of vacation and leave planning. • Serve as the first point of contact for Pharmacy Managers and PICs for operational questions, issues, and requests; escalate matters to the Regional Director as needed. • Provide onsite and remote support to pharmacy teams to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies. • Assist with onboarding and training of new pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring competency and compliance with operational standards. • Monitor day-to-day workflows and collaborate with Pharmacy Managers to identify and implement operational improvements. • Act as a resource for client contacts and pharmacy owners, providing timely communication and support to maintain positive relationships and resolve routine issues. • Support compliance with regulatory and 340B program requirements through regular documentation reviews, inventory checks, and process audits. • Coordinate with Human Resources and the Regional Director on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes for pharmacy technician positions. • Assist with implementing and reinforcing best practices for customer service and patient engagement. • Prepare routine reports and updates for the Regional Director regarding staffing, performance, and operational concerns. • Travel to pharmacy sites within the region to provide in-person support, coaching, and coverage assistance when necessary “Nuvem provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or medical disability, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation, military and/or veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable state or federal law.” Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred. • Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (e.g., PTCB or ExCPT) in good standing required. • Minimum 5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, with at least 2 years in a lead technician, supervisory, or pharmacy operations support role. • Prior experience in outpatient or community pharmacy settings required; experience in a 340B pharmacy environment preferred. Working Conditions: Primarily remote with regular travel (up to 30%) to pharmacy locations within the assigned region.
