Description: The Vice President of Pharmacy Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic execution across the organization’s portfolio of pharmacy management clients. Serving 340B-covered entities such as FQHCs and Ryan White grantees, this role provides executive oversight of field operations and strategic accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with both client goals and enterprise priorities. This leader will partner cross-functionally to lead initiatives that improve scalability, client satisfaction, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities: • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for regional and strategic account pharmacy operations across the organization’s client base. • Ensure operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with 340B program requirements and HRSA audit readiness. • Serve as an escalation point and executive sponsor for complex operational or client issues. • Drive performance across key metrics including prescription volume, patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. • Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives that support the scalability and sustainability of pharmacy services. • Collaborate with internal departments including Compliance, Clinical, Implementation, and Finance to support client success and internal alignment. • Identify and execute on opportunities for pharmacy service expansion, integration, and innovation to support client growth and evolving needs. • Ensure development and execution of SOPs, training programs, and performance management systems across the field. • Monitor and support change management activities tied to strategic and regulatory shifts. • Provide mentorship and leadership development to regional leaders and operational executives to build bench strength and organizational capacity. “Nuvem provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or medical disability, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation, military and/or veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable state or federal law.” Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, or related field required; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare management, or multi-site leadership roles. • Demonstrated success leading field operations in a highly regulated and client-facing environment. • Deep understanding of 340B program dynamics, FQHC operations, and pharmacy regulatory compliance requirements. Skills & Competencies: • Executive-level communication and leadership skills with proven ability to lead distributed teams. • Strategic thinking and operational execution across complex and dynamic environments. • Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess performance, manage budgets, and support data-driven decisions. • Ability to foster client trust, manage escalations, and influence decision-making across stakeholder groups. • Change leadership capabilities with experience managing growth, transformation, or integration initiatives. Working Conditions Primarily remote with regular travel (up to 30%) to client sites, pharmacy locations, and internal leadership meetings. Extended or flexible hours may be required to support business demands or critical issues.
