This is a full-time, permanent role with steady hours and overtime available. Responsibilities: • Attend pre-weld meetings and review drawings/specs • Observe fit-up, welding, and post-weld inspections • Verify WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation • Produce clear inspection reports; identify non-conformances • Collaborate with welders, fabrication teams, and QC/Production Managers Requirements: • Active AWS CWI certification (non-negotiable) • Experience in steel fabrication or related industry • Ability to interpret engineering drawings • Strong understanding of shop welding practices Schedule & Benefits: • Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (40 hrs), overtime paid at time-and-a-half • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match • PTO: 5 days year one, 13 days year two • Advancement opportunities in a reliable, team-focused environment
