This role focuses on mechanical video editing tasks, helping transform long-form founder recordings into short-form clips for social platforms. This is not a creative director role. The intern will work under strict guidelines and submit all work for review by a senior editor before publishing. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience editing enterprise, B2B, operator-focused content and building a real portfolio. This role covers QuickBooks administration, contractor/vendor payments, reconciliations, invoicing, estimates, month-end close, and reporting. In addition, the ideal candidate will bring investment banking–style analytical skills (DCF modeling, financial analysis), as well as the ability to assist with tax preparation, HR onboarding/offboarding, and compliance-related documentation. Key Responsibilities: Finance & Accounting • Manage QuickBooks Vendors, Projects, and Classes for accurate categorization. • Apply and refine bank rules for recurring transactions. • Split Upwork lump-sum payments into contractor/vendor-level expenses. • Prepare and send client invoices and estimates through QuickBooks. • Handle biweekly contractor payments and reconcile against time entries. • Perform light month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals). • Deliver monthly reporting packages (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). • Build DCFs and perform financial modeling/analysis to support decision-making.
