In this role, you will enhance the efficiency and quality of patient care by performing advanced clinical duties under the supervision of a dentist. Responsibilities • Place and finish dental restorations (fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth. • Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models. • Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges. • Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments. • Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed. • Provide chairside support to dentists during restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments. • Take and process dental radiographs. • Maintain sterilization standards and infection control protocols. • Accurately chart treatment notes and update patient records. • Monitor inventory, prepare trays, and ensure efficient clinical flow. • Assist the front office team with patient coordination as needed. Required Skills & Experience • 1–2 years of dental assisting experience. • Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and dental materials. • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Preferred Skills & Experience • Previous EFDA experience. Education • High school diploma or GED (required).
