Job Description This is a strategically technical, client-facing management role, leading enterprise clients through complex production infrastructure challenges and ensuring operational excellence across Mirantis platforms. As a Technical Account Manager (Technical Service Delivery), you will be the primary technical owner for a set of enterprise clients operating Mirantis platforms in production environments. This role guides clients through incidents, upgrades, and architectural decisions, ensuring their platforms remain stable, performant, and prepared for future growth. You will work closely with Support, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, acting as a trusted technical advisor to client engineering teams and senior stakeholders responsible for mission-critical systems. You will also lead strategic account reviews, present platform health and risk to executives, and provide recommendations that influence operational direction and long-term platform strategy. How success is measured Strong SLA performance and a measurable reduction in escalations. High client satisfaction (CSAT > 95%), driven by technical credibility and strategic guidance. Fewer repeat incidents through proactive, systemic platform improvements. Increased client confidence and effective adoption of Mirantis platforms. Clear, actionable outcomes delivered in QBRs and strategic account sessions. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in technical account management, service delivery, or similar client-facing, infrastructure-focused leadership roles. Proven experience providing technical leadership and operational guidance for enterprise, regulated, or high-performance production environments, leveraging OpenStack, Kubernetes, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Strong understanding of core OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance), Linux systems, distributed systems, networking, and storage from a strategic, operational perspective. Demonstrated ability to lead high-severity incidents, escalate appropriately, and communicate effectively with executives and engineering teams. Ability to provide architectural guidance and strategic recommendations, including OS, hardware, and platform upgrades, balancing operational, technical, and business considerations. Provide technical support and guidance for complex cloud infrastructure environments, including troubleshooting, incident management, and customer communication. | Extensive experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, Linux, and high-severity incident management, along with relevant certifications and the ability to manage escalations. | Job Description: • Serve as the primary technical authority for customer environments across Kubernetes, OpenStack, Linux, networking, storage, and security. • Provide L2-level troubleshooting and technical guidance across compute, control plane, networking, and storage layers. • Diagnose complex failures across OpenStack and Kubernetes components. • Guide customers through upgrades, lifecycle management, capacity planning, and architecture best practices. • Ensure customer issues are resolved within defined SLAs with minimal business impact. • Maintain greater than 95% CSAT across assigned accounts. • Conduct proactive platform reviews and drive root cause elimination for recurring issues. • Lead P1/P0 escalations, war rooms, and cross-functional incident response. • Provide clear, timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle. • Conduct recurring platform health reviews and risk assessments. Requirements: • 5+ years in technical support, service delivery, DevOps, SRE, or similar customer-facing infrastructure roles. • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenStack in production environments. • Understanding of Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, Ceph, iSCSI, NFS, VLAN/VXLAN, and SDN concepts. • Strong Linux administration and distributed systems troubleshooting skills. • Proven experience managing high-severity escalations and communicating with executives. • Willingness to travel up to 30% and participate in an on-call rotation. • Experience running Kubernetes on top of OpenStack (preferred). • Exposure to CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling (preferred). • Awareness of GPU and AI/ML workloads and their infrastructure requirements (preferred). • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, OpenStack certifications, Docker, Linux Foundation, or cloud provider certifications (preferred).
