The Merge Technical Pre-Sales Consultant is a client facing role within the Sales Organization at Merative that drives sales through consultative understanding of clients’ needs and technical/clinical impact, our solutions’ Unique Business Values, and the specific sales strategy for a new or existing client while working under minimal supervision. This position collaborates with the sales team as the technical and product Pre-Sales expert for Merge Imaging Solutions. The role involves diligently taking notes from product demonstrations and customer interactions and generating customer-specific Solution Designs and Statements of Work based on customer needs, budget, and Merge product offerings. The consultant will also develop written content for the technical and product-related sections of RFPs and Sales Transition Documents. Additionally, as a consultant you will review proposals generated by the sales team for completeness, technical accuracy, and delivery of the Merge Solution design document or Statement of work. Responsibilities: Partner with sales representatives to develop and execute effective selling strategies for each opportunity. Document customers’ goals, objectives, opportunities, problems, and obstacles, linking them back to Merge solution unique business values (UBVs). Provide workflow analysis of the current state and demonstrate how Merge solutions can improve existing workflows. Analyze the competitive landscape of each deal to properly position Merge’s UBVs and differentiators. Develop proposed solutions that address prospect-specific clinical, business, and technology issues. Perform tailored onsite product demonstrations and presentations to clinical end-users, IT staff, business analysts, and executives. Answer technical questions about product applications and new features to prospects and various groups within new and existing customer accounts. Gather ongoing prospect-customer feedback and related information, providing feedback to product management. Assist in staging and staffing industry trade shows. Pursue a program of self-development through selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education. Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers. Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
