Learn more at merative.com The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for managing subscription renewals for lower-dollar accounts and qualifying inbound leads from our website to convert them into paying customers. This role supports various markets, including Provider, Health System, and Non-Hospital clients. The primary objective is to efficiently handle a high volume of renewals while effectively triaging and transitioning inbound leads to the appropriate teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage Subscription Renewals Proactively engage with existing customers to ensure timely renewal of lower-dollar subscription accounts. Maintain high customer retention rates by delivering excellent service and addressing any renewal-related issues. Document current sales workflows and manual subscription renewal processes to ensure clarity and consistency. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance customer experience. Handle Inbound Leads Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from the website and other digital channels. Qualify leads, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate solutions. Transition qualified leads to the appropriate seller in a timely manner. Sales Process Management Accurately update CRM with all customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up actions. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly renewal and lead conversion targets. Collaborate with Sellers and the Account Management team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales Ops, Customer Experience, Finance) to implement process enhancements and support automation initiatives. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in inside sales, renewals, customer success, or a related role (internship experience may be considered). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales technologies. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and collaborative team player. Preferred Skills Experience in a subscription-based business or SaaS environment. Familiarity with inbound sales and lead qualification methodologies. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills. Education & Certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business experience. Work Environment Remote-based with up to 0–10% travel (primarily for annual sales meetings and occasional team meetings).
