About The Role We are seeking a Revit SME / CAD Manager to serve as the firm’s go-to resource for CAD strategy, staff training, and production support across multiple platforms. This can be a hybrid (in IL/MO/FL) or remote position with the opportunity to influence firm-wide design practices. Key Responsibilities • Train and mentor staff in Autodesk Revit, focusing on modeling best practices, templates, and workflows. • Develop and manage Revit content libraries, detail standards, and family creation. • Provide production support during staff absences or project peaks. • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline Revit workflows across the firm. • Act as the primary resource for Revit troubleshooting and technical support. • Partner with design and project teams to align Revit practices with project requirements. Qualifications • Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit in a professional engineering/architectural setting. • 5+ years of Revit production experience with demonstrated leadership in CAD standards or management. • Strong teaching and coaching skills. • Experience creating and maintaining Revit families and content libraries. • Comfortable working remotely and managing tasks with minimal supervision. Compensation & Benefits • This position offers a salary range of $70,000–$110,000 per year, along with bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay. • The listed salary range reflects the potential compensation for this role. This can be a hybrid (in IL/MO/FL) or remote position with the opportunity to influence firm-wide design practices. Key Responsibilities • Provide training and mentorship to staff on Civil 3D best practices, workflows, and standards. • Develop, organize, and maintain CAD libraries, templates, and standards. • Support project delivery by stepping in to complete design tasks when needed (vacation coverage, high workloads, etc.). • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and consistency across teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve CAD-related technical issues. • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to align CAD workflows with project goals. Qualifications • Proven expertise with Autodesk Civil 3D in an engineering or design environment. • 5+ years of CAD design/production experience; prior leadership or CAD management preferred. • Strong training, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience developing and implementing CAD standards and libraries. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
