THE JOB We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to work with the Venue Management team in St. Louis, Missouri. The Operations Manager position exercises overall responsibility for facility operations, partnering with the leadership team in the market. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring successful execution of events and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff, artists, and guests. This is an exempt role, reporting to the General Manager. What This Role Will Do • Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property. • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises. • May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. • Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection. • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. • Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts. • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue-this may include maintaining cleanliness. • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.
