Review and verify patient insurance, prepare and submit claims using ICD-10/ICD-9/DRG codes, ensure billing compliance, maintain records, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with providers. | Proven Athena experience, strong Family Practice billing knowledge including Medicare/Medicaid, familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9/DRG, EHR experience, detail-oriented, independent work capability, and medical billing certification or equivalent. | We are seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Biller/Coder to join our Family Practice team as a 1099 contractor. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in billing and coding for Family Medicine, including Medicare and Medicaid, and who is highly proficient in Athena.
