As a Pre - Construction Field Procurement Manager you will be the main procurement contact for your assigned branch office, partnering directly with our HVAC Controls Sales Organization to develop accurate installation cost models for our projects. This position is based in Glendale, WI. Candidates must be commuting distance to the office or are able to relocate. You will lead the development of installation costing and the identification and selection of 3rd party subcontractors through supplier development, contract management, supplier relationships, price negotiations, working capital optimization and improved communication between the central procurement teams and the branch offices. We'll need an organized individual with electrical or mechanical controls trade experience who can develop, align, and implement several supply chain strategies to deliver the most efficient methods for branch offices to procure subcontract labor from suppliers and deliver the solutions we promise our customers. Key functions include: - Partnership with Sales during project development phase to own Subcon Installation pricing - Determine Subcon Strategy and review total Project SOW to qualify and clarify Subcon requirements - Utilize Estimating Tools to develop baseline Subcon Installation Pricing - Source all 3rd Party Sub Quotes and develop, host, review all RFPs - Review Customer documents to ensure adequate provisions are in JCI contract to Subcontractors - Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers What we look for in a candidate includes both hands-on industry experience and procurement savvy. Required: - 5+ Year Commercial HVAC estimating experience - Electrical industry equivalent experience or bachelor's degree - Experience in building systems or operational processes - Works effectively with sales as well as in team settings/displays leadership - Electrical industry / installation knowledge a plus (i.e. Electrical Supervisor, Electrician, Estimator, etc.) - Procurement experience with a focus on construction and/or HVAC equipment and services with experience in cost analysis and strong financial knowledge Preferred experience includes design build construction and HVAC Controls construction or trades industry experience. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Process change orders, releasing equipment, filing, Certificate of Insurance, Warranty Letters Billing of projects; compiling back-ups such as Certified Payroll, work tickets etc. Handling customer/ contract disputes as needed. Coordinate delivery of equipment to the job site Coordinate delivery of close-out documents Creation of purchase orders for subcontractors Procurement and verification of project schedules Attend work in progress meetings. Tracking of project RFI’s, change orders and other pertinent documentation. Coordination/ Follow Ups with Sales Team regarding project bookings; releasing of jobs from COE/ Credit holds etc. Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) Act as the facilitator and point-person for information sharing between OTC, District, and select customers as directed by ACSM Support Dispute Resolution in resolving disputes when requested by the AR Collectors or the Dispute team. Contact customers when identified as necessary as part of DMS or for very simple reasons. What we look for Required Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, EXCEL, Power Point Valid driver's license with a good driving record High School diploma or equivalent Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Business Partners, Project Managers, Architects, and Operations teams for seamless delivery. Operational Excellence Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of critical financial applications through robust support and operations processes. Oversee incident management, root-cause analysis, release management, and environment strategy. Maintain strong data governance and oversee data flows across ERP, reporting, and analytic platforms. What we look for: Required 15+ years of experience in IT roles supporting financial business processes.
