DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES · Operate and maintain baler equipment · Load and unload material · Monitor baler operations – are the wires tying properly, etc. · Keeps equipment and all areas safe, clean and organized through proper housekeeping · Maintain records of baled material · Weigh finished bale & log weight · Operates forklift and transports inventory to correct locations and stages orders for shipment · Understands daily production schedule and corresponds with management / floor lead accordingly · Follows all SOP’s and reports concerns or issues with proper personnel as they arise · Additional responsibilities, duties, & cross-training as assigned – *will train on how to use skid steer EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION · Forklift experience is required · Ability to follow safety regulations and standards · Moving, lifting and transferring of up to 50 lbs. · Light mechanical aptitude preferred · Baler & baler maintenance experience preferred · Good attitude and aptitude PAY: $17.00-$17.50 per hour Get paid weekly every Friday!!! Lead and supervise daily production activities, ensure safety compliance, train team members, monitor production metrics, and maintain production records. | At least 1 year supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse, familiarity with machine operation and tools, bilingual in Spanish and English, and day shift availability. | Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor(1ST SHIFT 8-5) to lead our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory operations, mechanical knowledge, and a proven ability to manage assembly line processes effectively. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities • Supervise daily production activities and manage the workflow of the assembly line. • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and promote a safe working environment for all employees. • Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and productivity. • Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency. • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning. • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any operational issues. • Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control, inventory and employee performance. Experience • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing facility is required. • Strong warehouse manufacturing experience. • Familiarity with machine operating, power tools, hand tools, RF Scanning, quality control, inventory and other manufacturing equipment is essential. • Experience working on an assembly line or in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of production operations.
