CMEsquared is seeking an Associate Medical Director to assist in creating grants for funding and content for funded activities, under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer. The role will involve collaboration with internal team members and external faculty to create grants and activities based on approval of funding. Responsibilities include: • Collaborate with VP of educational development to create grants for funding • Write multiple focused needs assessments/grants weekly (~1-2 per week) creating supportive literature reviews and suggesting and/or refining themes, learning objectives, and agendas • Coordinate, review and finalize grant submission sections according to supporters’ grant portal requirements, including grant summaries, letters of request, etc • Assist in preparation of grant template documents for upcoming grant development needs • Adapt grant documents to meet requirements of different supporter needs and portals • Identify Request for Proposals (RFPs) or Call for Grant Applications (CGAs) within the dermatology space • Collaborate with internal and external experts to complete the following key tasks: • Partner with faculty to create high-quality content for medical education activities that meet established educational need, timelines, specifications, and budgets (80%) • Partner with faculty to create engaging, measurable, referenced pre and post test questions • Coordinate, review, and finalize, slide presentations from initiation through CME approval and launch • Collaborate with CME accrediting bodies though relevant stages of the process • Work with grant writer to develop strategic needs assessments/proposals that align with identified practice gaps and unmet needs with innovative solutions to address these needs (20%) • Work on multiple formats and disease areas every week • Fact check information on slides • Assist in completing CME accreditation documents • Analyze activity outcomes data to identify educational uptake and unmet educational needs and gaps Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to work independently as well as part of a team and must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. The candidate also must demonstrate the following: • Advanced medical or science degree is preferred or at least 2 years of relevant experience in medical education. • Knowledge of the rules and regulations overseeing medical education and familiarity with current trends in the industry • Ability to become familiar with new diseases/conditions quickly • Familiarity with dermatologic conditions a plus • Experience working with faculty experts and writing needs assessments • Expertise researching, compiling, and analyzing clinical and scientific evidence quickly • Solid editorial (writing and editing) skills and capability to adapt editorial style based on the educational format and/or the target audience (physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals). • Comfort working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality • Proven ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple projects/assignments in various stages of development, and meet timelines, all while maintaining high quality standards • Positive, upbeat personality who communicates concisely and clearly, both written and verbal • Comprehensive understanding of AMA Style Guide • Proven success in creating pre and post test questions and completing medical analysis for outcomes reports • Strong proficiency Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, and Power Point) Salary Commensurate with Experience plus Benefits
