Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage awarded concrete construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. | 5+ years estimating/project management in concrete construction, proficiency with estimating software and project management tools, strong knowledge of concrete industry standards, and ability to read construction plans. | Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing accurate estimates and overseeing awarded projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a strong background in concrete construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and take-offs for concrete projects. • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope of work. • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. • Develop project budgets, schedules, and cost tracking systems. • Manage awarded projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. • Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet deadlines and project goals. • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues related to scheduling, costs, or resources. • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and responsiveness. • Prepare and present project updates, forecasts, and reports to company leadership. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in estimating and/or project management, preferably in concrete construction. • Strong knowledge of concrete methods, materials, and industry standards. • Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
