You will work across employee relations, performance management, hiring support, systems, reporting, and manager coaching. This is not a purely strategic role. It requires someone who can step in, solve problems, and make sure the work gets done. What You Will Do HR partnership and support • Partner with leaders on day to day HR needs, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational changes • Provide practical HR guidance that supports both employees and business operations • Take ownership of HR work from start to finish and help drive execution Process improvement and operations • Identify inefficiencies and improve HR processes for simplicity, consistency, and scalability • Build and implement workflows that reduce manual work and improve accuracy • Use HR systems such as ADP and ATS tools to automate recurring tasks and improve efficiency • Troubleshoot process and system issues and help improve the overall user experience • Look for ways to eliminate unnecessary work, not just improve existing steps HR systems, data, and reporting • Support HR workflows across systems and help maintain accurate and consistent data • Partner with HR leadership and internal teams to improve reporting and visibility • Use data and insights to identify issues, support decisions, and improve outcomes Talent acquisition partnership • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to improve hiring results • Support role intake, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions • Help build more consistent recruiting practices across the organization • Identify ways to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience Manager coaching and accountability • Train and coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and leadership practices • Provide real time guidance to improve consistency and decision making • Hold managers accountable for completing core people management responsibilities • Step in when needed to help ensure appropriate action is taken Team and function development • Support the development of HR team members through guidance, structure, and coaching • Help build consistency across HR practices and processes • Contribute to a stronger and more scalable HR function Employee relations and risk management • Manage employee relations matters with sound judgment and a practical business approach • Support consistent and compliant handling of investigations, performance issues, and terminations • Partner with leaders and HR leadership to reduce risk while keeping work moving forward May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks, and work may be assigned. What Success Looks Like • HR processes are simpler, more consistent, and easier to manage • Manual work is reduced and systems are used more effectively • Managers are better equipped and more accountable in their people leadership responsibilities • Hiring practices are more consistent and effective • Employee relations matters are handled promptly, professionally, and with good judgment • The HR function becomes more scalable and better aligned with business needs What We Are Looking For • 5 to 8 or more years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or Generalist experience • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Strong experience in employee relations and performance management • Demonstrated success improving HR processes, workflows, or systems • Experience training, coaching, and influencing managers preferred • Ability to work independently and drive results without direct authority • Experience in a multi entity or complex organization preferred • Strong business judgment, adaptability, and problem solving skills • Ability to balance strategic priorities with day to day execution Additional Expectations • Ability to work across all levels of the organization, from frontline employees to senior leadership • Comfortable working in a fast paced and evolving environment • Flexibility to support business needs outside standard hours when needed • Minimal travel We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex including pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. This role combines technical leadership with business development responsibilities. The successful candidate will leverage existing customer relationships and a personal book of business to establish and expand operations. They will be responsible for generating sales, executing projects from cradle to grave, and building a sustainable customer base. Acting as both technical lead and business developer, the Expansion Manager will ensure profitable growth, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Greenfield Development o Establish and grow new service territories where Group CBS does not have a current presence. o Leverage existing customer relationships and personal book of business to seed and expand operations. · Sales & Business Development o Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with both existing and new customers. o Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with company goals. o Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts by understanding their needs, strategies, and decision-making processes. o Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand market presence. · Project & Service Execution o Oversee execution of projects from quotation through completion, including scope development, scheduling, resource allocation, and customer communication. o Serve as technical lead for field service projects, providing expertise and guidance to technicians. o Ensure timely delivery, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. · Leadership & Team Building o Recruit, train, and lead local field service teams as regional operations grow. o Mentor and coach technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and technical performance. o Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. · Financial & Operational Oversight o Work with supervisor development of budgets, forecasts, and performance targets for the region. o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to sales growth, project profitability, and customer satisfaction.
