Job Title: Field Service Expansion Manager Department: Expansion & Greenfield Operations Reports To: VP Greenfield Opportunities / Greenfield Program Manager FLSA Status: Salaried, Exempt, Full-Time JOB SUMMARY The Field Service Expansion Manager will play a key role in Group CBS’s Greenfield growth strategy by leading, and developing new regional field service operations in markets where Group CBS currently does not have a footprint. This role combines technical leadership with business development responsibilities. The successful candidate will leverage existing customer relationships and a personal book of business to establish and expand operations. They will be responsible for generating sales, executing projects from cradle to grave, and building a sustainable customer base. Acting as both technical lead and business developer, the Expansion Manager will ensure profitable growth, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Greenfield Development o Establish and grow new service territories where Group CBS does not have a current presence. o Leverage existing customer relationships and personal book of business to seed and expand operations. · Sales & Business Development o Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with both existing and new customers. o Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with company goals. o Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts by understanding their needs, strategies, and decision-making processes. o Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to expand market presence. · Project & Service Execution o Oversee execution of projects from quotation through completion, including scope development, scheduling, resource allocation, and customer communication. o Serve as technical lead for field service projects, providing expertise and guidance to technicians. o Ensure timely delivery, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. · Leadership & Team Building o Recruit, train, and lead local field service teams as regional operations grow. o Mentor and coach technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and technical performance. o Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. · Financial & Operational Oversight o Work with supervisor development of budgets, forecasts, and performance targets for the region. o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to sales growth, project profitability, and customer satisfaction. METRICS · Regional sales growth and profitability · Successful establishment of new Greenfield operations · Customer retention and satisfaction ratings · On-time, on-budget project execution · Technician recruitment, retention, and performance SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES · Directly responsible for leading and developing new regional teams as operations expand. QUALIFICATIONS · Proven track record of successfully establishing or expanding regional service operations. · Demonstrated ability to bring an existing book of business and grow new customer relationships. · Strong technical knowledge of power systems, electrical testing, or related services. · Sales and business development skills with ability to identify and close opportunities. · Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage projects from cradle to grave. · Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce and Oracle Netsuite experience preferred. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. · Minimum 5 years of combined experience in field service management, business development, or technical sales. · Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
