Role overview Gametime is looking for a Staff Product Manager, Fan Experience to own new user activation end-to-end across mobile app, mobile web, and desktop web. This role is focused on helping new fans reach value faster — clearly understanding Gametime’s value proposition, engaging meaningfully in early sessions, and entering the purchase funnel with confidence. This is a senior individual contributor role with full accountability for strategy, roadmap, and execution. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing/CRM to improve how users experience Gametime from their very first interaction. This role reports to the VP of Product. What you’ll do Own new user activation across app and web, from first visit through early engagement and entry into the purchase funnel. Define and drive the activation roadmap, balancing rapid experimentation with durable product improvements. Own onboarding experiences, ensuring new users quickly understand Gametime’s value and how to get started. Lead A/B testing and experimentation across activation and early lifecycle surfaces, using insights to inform product decisions. Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship high-quality experiences that improve speed to value, clarity, and delight. Develop a deep understanding of new user behavior and pain points, and use those insights to continuously improve the fan experience. What we’re looking for 6–10 years of product management experience, ideally on consumer products with meaningful acquisition and onboarding surfaces. Experience owning activation, onboarding, or early lifecycle experiences across web and mobile. Proven ability to operate as a senior IC, driving strategy, execution, and outcomes independently. Strong experimentation and analytical skills, with experience using data and testing to guide decisions. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills. A user-first mindset with a focus on speed to value, clarity, and early engagement. Nice to have Experience with consumer marketplaces or high-intent consumer apps.
