Responsibilities: • * Lead complex troubleshooting initiatives - Dive deep into challenging technical problems that others escalate to you • Drive innovation through R&D - Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies to keep our infrastructure ahead of the curve • Ensure system reliability - Maintain high availability across IT infrastructure through proactive monitoring and rapid response • Design effective solutions - Create and implement scalable systems that meet business needs • Mentor and elevate the team - Serve as technical mentor and escalation point for IT Helpdesk, sharing knowledge and best practices Technical Focus Areas Primary Expertise: Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, backup systems, and system integration Device Management: Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, preferably Microsoft Intune, and enterprise policy management across diverse device environments Networking Foundation: Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and network troubleshooting to support infrastructure projects and problem resolution Innovation Areas: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMware vSphere - where you'll help shape our cloud strategy Monitoring & Alerting: Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools Dynamic Problem-Solving Opportunities • Real-time crisis management - Lead incident response for critical infrastructure issues • Multi-project coordination - Manage multiple concurrent technology initiatives, including system integrations during business acquisitions • Cross-functional collaboration - Interface with service desk teams and governance groups on escalated issues and strategic projects • Business continuity leadership - Play a key role in our Business Continuity Planning team Other Duties: • Performs other duties as assigned. • Occasionally works as after-hour/holiday support contact. • Assists other team members in joint tasks as assigned. • Assists with occasional user moves, lifting, relocation of IT assets. • Maintains technical knowledge and professional aptitude by attending workshops, professional training, and certifications. Qualifications: • An associate degree in information technology is required. • A bachelor's degree in information systems/Technology is (strongly preferred). Skills & Experience: • Two years of experience in a similar position is required. • Proven track record of managing enterprise-level infrastructure Certifications/Licenses: • Industry certifications in Azure, AWS, and CompTIA Network+/Security+ are preferred. G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its team in Katy, TX. Responsibilities: • Compiling and planning budgets, cost estimates and other financial estimates; and coordinating, planning, and managing schedules for contractors and subcontractors • Conducting site checks to monitor progress and quality standards; and developing construction project with architect, engineers, and trade workers • Collaborating with engineers, architects, etc. to determine the specifications of the project; and negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements • Allocating and managing resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects • Ordering and managing materials and equipment, and providing internal reporting and projections for inventory • Performing the tasks of a cost estimator, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget • Overseeing construction projects from beginning to end, and managing the budget and estimate costs; managing customer expectations / changes • Supervising construction project progress and providing reports on timeline, progress, and changes • Submitting customer invoice requests in timely manner • Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines (permits), and local and state regulations are met.
