Manage territory sales, build customer/vendor relationships, perform category reviews, and support promotional activities. | Minimum 2-3 years in sales or marketing, proficiency in CRM systems, and experience in distribution or industrial accounts. | Regional Sales Representative The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer and vendor relationships across an assigned territory within distribution and industrial accounts. This role executes territory plans, delivers consultative selling, performs category reviews, improves product placement, supports promotional execution, and provides customer training. The RSR maintains disciplined CRM activity in Salesforce/Odoo and provides competitive, pricing, and market insights to internal stakeholders and vendor partners. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Territory & Account Ownership • Own an assigned territory and execute a territory sales plan to achieve growth goals and defined KPIs. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution and industrial accounts; expand footprint through new item placement, assortment improvements, and promotional alignment. • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects through structured outreach, on-site visits, and follow-up. Consultative Selling, Category Reviews & Execution • Perform category reviews and analysis of current product lines to identify and present marketing and sales opportunities. • Meet with customers to present product recommendations, secure new product placement and promotions, and provide solutions to customer needs. • Analyze sales results and adjust sales strategies and territory plans to drive sustained portfolio growth. Vendor Partnership & Communication • Build collaborative relationships with vendor partners, customers, and internal leadership; align on objectives and communicate results and opportunities. • Track and communicate sales activities, customer feedback, and open opportunities to vendor partners and leadership. Training, Enablement & Customer Support • Identify accounts requiring training; create and communicate action plans and deliver training to improve adoption and results. • Provide responsive, best-in-class customer support and serve as a trusted resource for product and portfolio guidance. Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights • Monitor competitive pricing, product placement, and regional activity; provide actionable insights to leadership and vendor partners. • Capture voice-of-customer insights (objections, product gaps, emerging needs) and share with internal stakeholders to support portfolio and go-to-market improvements. CRM Discipline • Ensure customer and account information is accurately entered and maintained in Salesforce/Odoo. • Maintain timely CRM updates for customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps to support forecasting, visibility, and accountability. Trade Shows & Team Collaboration • Travel to and support industry trade shows including preparation, setup, onsite execution, and follow-up, with a focus on relationship-building and brand awareness. • Collaborate closely with the Distribution & Industrial team and the broader Regional Sales organization to support coverage, shared learning, and sales growth. • Perform other duties as assigned by the National Field Sales Manager and leadership. QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma/GED and 2-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or product representation. • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed individual and company sales goals. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams, vendor partners, and leadership. • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Strong customer service mindset with analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to become proficient in Salesforce and other systems/tools. • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. • Experience calling on distribution, industrial, or strategic account customers in the home improvement/hardware ecosystem (e.g., distributor branches, industrial supply, multi-location accounts). • Experience presenting category reviews, line reviews, and assortment recommendations to customers. • Experience with CRM activity tracking and pipeline hygiene. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS  The noise level of the environment is usually moderate. The Regional Sales Representative is expected to travel a minimum of 50% of the time. The remaining 50% of the time the RSR is expected to work in the home office and/or remotely. Overnight travel is required.
