Position Overview As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Precision Oncology sales representatives, and leading all account activity for select products within the Precision Oncology portfolio within your designated region, which may include OncoDetect (MRD), OncoExTra, RiskGuard (Hereditary Cancer Testing), and Cancerguard (Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test). Your main focus will be in these areas: driving sales results, Leadership, Planning, Project Management, People Development, and Communication. You are expected to continually develop the skills of individuals within your team and ensure that your region produces sales volume at or above the assigned region sales quota. This position is field based with responsibility across the Ohio, Michigan, Northern Kentucky, West Virginia, and Northern Virginia markets. Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following: Provide effective leadership and strategic direction to respective region ROL’s to drive depth within each customer, successfully sell in head-to-head environment, develop strategic business plans, be clinical experts as well as knowledgeable of competitive dynamics. Establish quality working relationships with key departments within Exact Sciences to fully understand and support our mission and goals. Provide feedback to Sales and Managed Care (contracting/pricing), and future product development strategies. Be well informed on scientific and applicable disease states, competition, and outside influences that impact our business; identify emerging opportunities that benefit our business. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable legal standards and requirements. Participate and collaborate on various cross-functional committees; such as Incentive Compensation, Marketing, etc. Take initiative and provides feedback when addressing issues, opportunities, and challenges that pertain to corporate goal attainment. Develop meaningful and productive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within respective Region. Develop, present, and execute a comprehensive region business plan. Implement the plan and provide feedback, track, and make adjustments to meet revenue and budget targets. Identify ethical, innovative, customer-oriented ideas in response to changing markets. Participate and/or lead special sub-teams critical to our success; including strategy, Managed Care, contracting, pricing, business development, patient advocacy, competitive analysis, quality assurance, etc. Supervise staff; including, but not limited to, organize and prioritize work, write/conduct performance reviews, train/develop, and manage work performance. Communicate goals clearly to employees to ensure understanding and success in achieving them. Motivate and inspire employees to do their best work through coaching. Support open communication and use managerial courage to communicate expectations; solicit feedback on their own performance on a regular basis to insure the highest quality of leadership through continuous learning. Effectively communicate to senior executives to build awareness of all key issues related to their area of responsibility; provide information critical to accomplishing the Exact Sciences mission to all parties involved in the Sales and Access of our products; such as the Marketing and Billing/Reimbursement teams. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or field related to the essential duties of the job. 6+ years of experience in medical related sales experience. 2+ years of sales experience in oncology. Position Overview The Exact Sciences Strategy, Research & Insights team is responsible for identifying, defining, and driving innovative, immersive, and memorable customer-centric journeys for all our customers, across all channels (digital and physical). The Research & Insights Intern will work closely with the Sr. Director, Strategy & Insights, Assoc. Director, Research & Insights, UX Researchers, and Market Researchers to assist as they 1) define, 2) execute, and 3) analyze research within the Marketing organization. The definition of projects may include joining intake meetings with stakeholders who have requested research to listen to their needs and take notes. While a researcher will lead these meetings, the Intern may contribute to crafting a research plan that reflects the meeting discussion. The execution of projects may include programming the research instrument used for unmoderated interviews or quantitative surveying, facilitating moderated interviews, or notetaking while a Researcher facilitates moderated interviews.
